BSWM Make It Work - A case study

A PROGRAMME FOR BLACK ASIAN AND MINORITY ETHNIC CARE ORGANISATIONS

The Make it Work (MIW) Programme supports Black and Asian-led organisations to successfully bid for adult social care contracts. The main aim of the programme is to support these organisations to be in a strong business position to successfully receive commissioned programmes in health and social care but also more broadly, this will ultimately aid business sustainability and development. It shapes adult social care commissioning on many levels including improving entry into delivering various models of delivering care, redesigning care specifications so they are more readable, and influence processes the contracts so they are more suitable for Black and Asian organisations.
